At Electra we deliver electricity to the Horowhenua and Kāpiti area. Part of your power bill goes to us for maintaining the power lines.
Electricity bills in our area are amongst the lowest in the country, partly because we are a consumer owned company, so all our profits stay local.
In April 2020 we reduced our line charges for most customers. That means $3 million is going back into our community through cheaper power!
